LGBT Jigsaw is a partnership between three organisations (think of these as jigsaw pieces): Stonewall Housing, the Albert Kennedy Trust, and Galop. LGBT Jigsaw recognises that sometimes trying to get the support that you need can be a real puzzle, it can be confusing. It can also be frustrating to have to repeat your story over and over again. LGBT Jigsaw aims to make life easier by putting all the pieces together and making it simpler to get the information, advice and support that you need.

The type of support available

Stonewall Housing provides supported housing, advice and advocacy for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities in London. They are the UK’s largest provider of LGBT specific accommodation.

Stonewall Housing also has a mental health advocacy service for young people to help you get the right support for your mental health.

Albert Kennedy Trust supports LGBT young people who are facing homelessness. They provide Supported Lodgings, emergency support, mentoring, advocacy, information and support, and accredited training programmes.

Galop works to prevent and challenge homophobic and transphobic hate crime in Greater London. There work for within this partnership is aimed at helping young people feel safer, including support people who are being abused by a partner or family member or have been the victim of a sexual assault or hate crime.

If you identify as LGBT or are questioning your sexuality or gender identity and you are interested in finding out about LGBT Jigsaw then you can visit the project website here.
