Next steps

This is how we will help you solve your homelessness once you complete our online Get Help form.

Step 1

You complete the online referral form on our Get Help page, which is sent confidentially to our service. If you are rough sleeping, need urgent support or want to find other services, please look here.

Step 2

We will look at your form and think about what the options for you are.  Within 2-3 days, someone from the London Youth Gateway will call you to discuss your situation and offer advice.

Step 3

If we can support you to resolve your situation from the first phone call, we will do this with you. If after this call you agree you would benefit from a referral to one or more of our partnership organisations, we will do this with your consent.

Step 4

We will continue to support you whilst we work on your housing situation together. You can withdraw your consent for us to do this any time.

Step 5

Once you start working with the London Youth Gateway, you might be interested in more of the support available, for example with employment or your health. We might discuss these services with you, or you can ask if you’d like to find out more.
