About us

We are a sector leading, pan-London programme supporting 16-25 year-olds facing homelessness or rough sleeping.

Our mission is to make sure young Londoners bounce back quickly and safely in times of crisis, preventing or solving their homelessness for good.

We are a partnership of nine London charities and voluntary organisations. Together we support young people to achieve long-term stability through housing, income, health and migration status issues.

New Horizon Youth Centre are the lead partners of the LYG and the programme is funded by London Councils.

If you would like to find out more about please email us on lyg@nhyouthcentre.org.uk.

London Councils is the collective of London local government, the 32 boroughs and the City of London Corporation. They come together through London Councils to work in collaboration to deliver their shared ambitions for London and Londoners. They fund the LYG partnership.

The London Youth Gateway partnership

“I had lost my job, I wasn’t going to school, I didn’t have anywhere to stay. London Youth Gateway helped me to recover mentally, physically and financially. They found me find me a place to stay.”
